A Brief Bio on it All .. Psychorish Muzik was started by a young lad, Rishi, who has an everlasting passion for music in two forms, i.e. audio electronics and rock n roll. When combined they created the ultimate rock Deejay. He realized that there were few rock Deejays around. Even further, Deejays who satisfied his friends as well as his taste in rock n roll were scarce. This further motivated him to pursue his hobby with a greater passion. His first experience as a DJ started a few years ago as a young teen playing for small parties and at band launches for friends. His style and selections favour power, gothic, trash, classic, 80’s and Euro metal with some twists of modern non-mainstream rock. This distinguishes him from the mainstream DJ's and has contributed to his success in the rock scene. On rare occasions he plays pop rock and alternative, but his playlists are still heavy on the non-mainstream side. His partner in crime, Stephen aka Battusai, adds to the ultimate powerhouse of rock n roll Deejays known as Psychorish Muzik. In 2000, Psychorish automatically gained promoter status after his first successfull local concert, The Rock Season Kick Off which is now known as the annual Samaan Tree Rock Festival. Combining his natural management and music skills for the past five years, he has produced several different shows including Rock Fest Y2K, Live N Loud, Tremor’s CD Launch Party and the popular Samaan Tree Rock Festivals.
